Advent 2018

The season of Advent begins the Christian year, and is a season of longing and waiting for God's promised Messiah.

Pentecost 2018

The season begins with the birthday of the Christian church on the festival day of Pentecost, and lasts well into the fall. During this time, we celebrate the work of the Holy Spirit as well as the apostles, the saints and other ancestors in the faith whose lives are an example for us to see how the Spirit is at work in the world and how we, too, are called by that same Spirit to serve God and neighbor.  

Easter 2018

The season of Easter is all about God's promise delivered in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, bringing victory over sin and death. He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Lent 2018

A 40 day season of repentance and spiritual reflection, seeking out ways to strengthen our relationship with God.

Bold Women of Faith 2018

Our midweek worship series during the season of Lent will focus on Bold Women of Faith, and how the life and witness of each of these women can help us to reflect upon our own faith in Christ.

Epiphany 2018

Epiphany is a celebration of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Worship themes center around the revelation of Christ to all nations, Jesus' baptism in the River Jordan, and Christ as the light of the world. The season bridges the gap between Christmastide and Ash Wednesday.

Christmastide 2017-2018

During the 12 days of Christmas, we celebrate the birth of God's promised messiah in Jesus of Nazareth. We rejoice together with the angels, the shepherds, and finally with the three wise persons who came to pay homage and bring gifts to the new born king. 

Advent 2017

The season of Advent begins the Christian year, and is the season of waiting for God's promised Messiah during the weeks leading up to the Nativity and Christmastide.

Pentecost 2017

The season of Pentecost is the longest season in the Christian year, beginning on the  Festival Day of Pentecost. Throughout the season, we focus on the work of the Holy Spirit, the Apostles, the saints and other ancestors in the faith, the life of the church and Christian living. 

Eastertide 2017

The 50 day season celebrating God's promise fulfilled within the resurrection of Jesus Christ, bringing victory over sin and death.
